<sub>This photomanipulation is for the "Hello" contest going on in one of my clubs, . The contest is that you must represent the song "Hello" by Evanescance in some way. Since the song is partly based on Amy Lee's childhood experience of losing her little sister when she was still a child, I wanted to use a little kid in the image.

In this picture, the little girl on the cliff is on the verge of this void, this great expanse of things she doesn't understand. But she's in the light, in the light of what she does understand. The "void" (which in this case is the turbulent river and waterfall) is desaturated and darkened, all one mellow blur to her future and all of the things she is yet to learn. It is the loss she feels over losing her little sister.
